I love Nina and Luxe Color Bar Salon. I have fine, thin hair but she always makes it look so good. The color is always amazing and the cut gives my hair volume that I only get from her cuts. I would highly recommend Nina and this salon.

Where do I even begin? I’ve been a client of Nina’s for over 17 years, and she is hands down the most talented, dedicated, and genuinely caring stylist I have ever had the pleasure of knowing — and at this point, she’s so much more than that. She’s become a true friend. As a blonde, I cannot overstate how rare it is to find someone who truly understands the art and science of color the way Nina does. For 17+ years she has kept my highlights looking natural, dimensional, and healthy — never brassy, never damaged. She doesn’t just do your hair; she thinks about what works for your skin tone, your lifestyle, and your hair’s specific needs. She has advised me on haircare products and routines over the years in a way that has genuinely transformed the condition of my hair. Beyond color, Nina has cut my hair through every phase of life — and always made me feel like my best self walking out of that chair. She has also created the most beautiful customized clip-in extensions for special events, and done my makeup for those same occasions. I always feel completely taken care of when I’m in her hands, knowing that from head to toe, every detail will be flawless. Five years ago, Nina took the leap and opened her own salon, LUXE Color Bar, and it has been a joy to watch her thrive in a space that is completely her own. She recently expanded into the suite next door — which is so well-deserved and not at all surprising, because the demand for her talent speaks for itself. If you are looking for a stylist who will truly listen to you, genuinely care about the health of your hair, and make you feel like a priority every single visit — Nina is your person. I am a 45-year-old mom with a busy life, and walking out of Nina’s salon always makes me feel like the best version of myself. That is a gift, and I don’t take it lightly. Such an amazing, yet warm and inviting experience. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Nina takes pride in her work and values her customer’s needs. She gives her undivided attention to each customer. I am very pleased to know that I have found an amazing hair salon that did such an amazing job with highlighting and giving me the hair cut that I wanted. I’m overall pleased with the service I received today from Nina and Rose! Thanks ladies, y’all are THE BEST!

I love this salon! In fact I love it so much that I have followed Nina across town and I drive from Alpharetta to Acworth for my haircuts! I know this sounds absolutely crazy for a haircut but honestly when you have a certain hair type and you know how rare it is to find a stylist who can work with it you will follow them to the ends of the world. I met Nina several years ago just after covid when she had a studio near my house. I was trying to find a new stylist who could help me get some good volume and a cute choppy/shag short style for my very fine and very straight hair. I saw her online portfolio and it looked just like my former stylists work so I booked with her. She absolutely nailed it on my first visit and I have loved my haircut every time! She eventually moved a little further into Kennesaw but no problem, I went to see her at her new studio off of Barrett Pkwy. Then after a while she finally found a really great location to open her own salon! Familiar territory for me as it's across from my old high school but a little far to drive. Didn't matter - this expert haircut that gives my hair some life and character is so worth the trip! The haircut prices there might seem high to some, but truly the cost is well deserved - Nina especially is a master stylist and the work that I have seen from other stylists there is absolutely professional and really looks good. She's also training new talent which is huge - a lot can be learned in cosmetology school but learning from a master stylist is priceless information. I haven't done any color or highlights in a long time (yay the grays have stayed away so far) but I know that time was so coming soon and I know Nina and the staff there will do a great job. I also got a couple of facial services here and that were very relaxing and fairly priced. I know this somewhat depends on the staff availability but I really enjoyed my experience each time. Big thank you to Nina and the rest of the staff at Luxe! Every stylist there is friendly and will say hello, even if you are not their client. Rose is a wonderful assistant and always gives a great shampoo and deep conditioning service complete with scalp massage. (they have these little scrubber comb pads for the massage that feel so good.) No doubt they'll be back on the Best of Cobb list again this year. I would highly recommend this salon, whether it be a service with Nina or with any of the other stylists.
